Hope – Oxblood & Paisley (2.5.13)

hope

Hope wants to be the IT girl with Liam and with HFTF (that’s the new cool way to say Hope for the Future FYI…I learned that from Hope), so it’s a good thing she is wearing the IT color of the season (oxblood). You guys are going to freak out on me because I can’t find the Real Deal. My delicate sensibilities can’t take the disappointment, so I’ll have to stay away from twitter for a while. I’m kidding, I can take it, but sorry for the no find, this is the best I could do.

2/15/13 Reader Find Update! Thanks to Laura H who spoke with Kim Matula, who thought it was a Zara dress. Looks to be sold out. Everyone loved it it’s sold out, Sorry.

Taylor – Blouse & Long Cardigan (10.25.12)

Look: Taylor - Blouse & Long Cardigan (10.25.12)
I was hoping to get a Taylor post up yesterday in honor of the Stephanie/ Taylor scenes, but I had a difficult time finding Taylor’s blouse and sweater. And I’m pretty sure the reason why is that these two items are from past seasons from Tory Burch. I can tell from the logo buttons on the cardigan that it is Tory Burch, and I’m 95% certain the print on the blouse is also from the same designer. But sometimes…like in our own closets, we wear things from (gasp) a year or so ago. Frankly I would be doing cartwheels down the street if I could wear some jeans from 5 years ago. In any case, Taylor looking beautiful (even when she’s crying too) with her classic, elegant style. To get her look here are a few things that are on the market:

Katie – Bright Blouse (5.23.12)

Nobody seems too happy about Katie being pregnant. I hate that when you give what you would expect to be good news, only to be met with the stink face. She tried; with a big bright smile, and a big bright blouse to match. But even that didn’t de-ice Brooke’s reaction to the news. I love seeing Katie in bright colors, and this one is about as high on the bright scale as you can get. I am almost positive that this Zara shirt is the Real Deal:

Dr Barton – Bright Blouse (4.13.12)

Dr Barton is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters on the show. She always has this wtf is the matter with you people kind of look on her face, and a dry and to the point ‘that is not what I said’ kind of attitude. The bright blouse she is wearing mirrors her sunny disposition, I’m just kidding she’s awesome, and the blouse is too with it’s gorgeous color. I think it is a great style for all ages and can be worn with just about anything, and any jacket (like a great leather jacket). Here it is and similar versions.

Caroline – Tux Blazer and Sequin Mini Dress (4.4.12)

“Oh thank goodness I just happened to pack my sequin dress just in case there is a party”. I just made that quote up of course. Even with the blazer the dress is risque no? Deep decolletage and mini-mini? Ok, ok she looks great, and her youth and innocent and ethereal character de-sleaze the dress. The blazer is quite classic and something Steffy would definitely wear. Still trying to figure out Carolyn’s hodge-podge of style, but the blazer is thumbs up, here it is (and a version of the dress if you want to have available if a last minute party pops up for you):

Hope – Pink Blouse and Blue Pencil Skirt (3.23)

Hope is on the verge of a maj meltdown, thank goodness for her new little pink pills. Quite fitting she is wearing a bubble-gum pink blouse and bright blue pencil skirt. The color blocking is fashion forward, yet still young and fresh, but certainly not for everyone. Well, on their own each piece can be mix-matched with your basics if you don’t like the two colors together. Here are the Real Deal and Real World versions of the blouse and skirt:

Katie – Rhinestone Cuff Blouse (Jan 30)

One of the things that I love about the soaps is that the gals can rock major evening bling any time of the day, any day of the year. Here Katie is just going about her day-to-day confrontations, today wearing head to toe black…except…you see it, bangles of rhinestones on the sleeves of this billowy blouse. Awesome. The detailing is all in the sleeves and with the accent rhinestone buttons. The design is simple, with the open v-neck that invites a big necklace, but true glamor gals know that too much is not a good thing. I love how the only other accessory she wears are the major carats in her ears.

Another way to wear this might be with some fun unstructured cuffed rayon type shorts (so they drape like the blouse), wear with tights or no tights and some heels or ankle boots.

A real easy way to copy this look inexpensively would be to take any black blouse and throw on matching bangles. Here’s one that would work for only $20 for two!

I think the blouse would look great with some shorts like these:
