Ok I have to say this is one of my fave Hope outfits. Yes it’s in keeping with her preppy chic image, but I absolutely adore how the stylists mixed in a casual plaid blouse, with a plaid business suit. They pulled in the faint red plaid of the suit and tied into the obvious red plaid of the blouse. Throw on her trademark long necklace and it is such a fashion forward outfit. Yeah, so many of the uber fashionistas keep talking about ‘be bold, mix patterns’ right? Well I like how this is actually kind of the same principle but pattern on pattern, and I think that it totally works. Now I’m not crazy about the high waist of the pants on Hope, but I love the pattern choices. I was so over the plaid blouses when they first came out again not too long ago, but this has inspired me to maybe reconsider and try some creative ways to take a grunge casual look and make very fashion chic.
