Brooke – Tweed Suit (5.11.12)

Elegant up top, party down below. This is what I would call an oxymoron of a dress suit, and I think it rocks. What I love about it is that young gals can wear it and still look young and sassy yet sophisticated, and more seasoned gals can still look sophisticated but still show their sass. Make sense? The dress with the jacket is anywhere appropriate, then get a happy hour cocktail or 5 and take that jacket off and show off your fringe party dress. And perfectly appropriate for Brooke I might add. The Real Deal by Theyskens’ Theory (sold separately).

Hope – Polka Dot Skirt (5.11.12)

Again, I nearly fell our of my chair when I saw Hope wearing black, and for a second day in a row. But then I realized the color was navy. But I laughed when the camera panned down to her polka dot skirt. I’m not laughing at the outfit ( it’s cute), I was laughing because of the last post I just made commenting on her wearing of polka dots. I hope you aren’t in love with the skirt because it is sold out. May be worth checking back or on ebay. Some similar versions out there though to get the look. I thought the simple fitted T worked, and so did the orange purse (not shown obv):

Katie – Sheer Python Print Blouse (5.10.24)

I’m not used to seeing Katie flouncing around. She did, she kind of flitted and flounced around this episode, it was unusually awkward to watch, and quite out of character. She could have done cartwheels in Liam’s house for all I care, because she was owning her sheer python print blouse. Totally on trend this season, and it’s just kind of easy, breezy chic. Flit and flounce, easy, breezy, not exactly stellar writing on my part, but oh whatever, you get where I’m going. Here is the Real Deal and some less expensive versions.

Caroline – Striped Skirt (5.8.12)

Caroline is back at work and getting another eye-full from Rick and his feminine ways. Speaking of eye-fulls. Tight. Skirt. Yes I am a a fan of Herve Leger style bandage dresses, but I dunno. And Caroline has a rockin’ zero fat body. How about I compromise and say too tight for the office then? At least she is wearing with a loose blouse to offset, nice styling. The varying depth stripes is pretty cool too. Here it is and some less expensive versions:

Hope – Contrast Tunic Dress (5.7.12)

I can’t believe my eyes. Hope is wearing black. Not a floral on black, not a black polka dot…but a straight up black dress (ok with the ‘makes the dress’ white contrasting). No long necklaces or bangles, just a cool, simple tunic dress, with an undone feel to it, especially with the cuffs unbuttoned. I’m telling you Steffy fans will hate this dress, but Steffy could just as easily be wearing this and rock it. Mind you, Steffy would style with a wedge bootie vs a pump, but either way… here you go:

Brooke – Striped Tunic (5.7.12)

Brooke looks great in Vince, period. This striped tunic has a standup collar, and hidden buttons down the front, and I like how she takes this fairly basic piece and makes it much more office chic with the plum pencil skirt. Also a easy weekend piece like on the model below with skinny jeans, or cargos. Great blouse but I still have my eye on this white Vince tunic blouse she was wearing a few weeks ago.

Steffy – Apres Ski Boots (5.4.12)

Things are heating up in Aspen for Liam and Steffy! And I’m guessing her tootsies are toasty in these ready for the tundra boots. Stylish and functional. I’m serious, they are the Real Deal, Real Deal as far as winter boots go, by Sorel. I know it’s spring time, but you might want to snatch up a pair for next year. Oh yeah, and I remember reading this article on the The Zoe Report about these very same boots, not long ago. Rachel Zoe stamp of approval.

Allison – Tie Neck Blouse (5.1.12)

This real life Princess in character is one tough cookie, not putting up with Bill’s antics, while assertively expressing her own opinion. I like it. Allison also seems to gravitate towards the feminine blouse/ skirt ensembles, which I guess fits with her Exec Admin role. This is a unique yellow/gold color that looks amazing with her blond hair. I prefer this blouse to the more pale tones we have seen her in. Great on trend style like we saw on Taylor a few episodes ago. Here are some very similar versions by Rachel Zoe and a not much less expensive, but non-charmeuse version:

Brooke – Color Blocked Dress (4.24.12)

Brooke must be tiny, do you see how short this is on the model below? It’s still short but not as short. The color blocking on the dress is a unique ‘shades of blue’ combo with the lighter shade on the bottom of the dress, and the bright blue on the top. The top with the v neck and dolman sleeves billow down to a sash belt  worn as a slight drop waist. It’s another pretty DVF number. I think this bright blue would look great on brunettes, but it looks gorgeous with Brooke’s blond hair.

Did you happen to notice the cool black cuff bracelet? Nice to see Brooke wearing something non-bling or metal for a change. Love the look.

Steffy – Black Leather Tee (4.23.12)

Steffy takes edgy urban chic the distance and always pulls it off. This black leather tee is just so super cool I can’t even talk about it. I think the simplicity is what makes it so special. Balanced with her ombre hair and the brown wrap leather bracelet (which I also just made an earlier post about here), it  is such a pulled together look. I know it isn’t a look for everyone, but if you want a fun, fashion forward piece that will last for seasons…maybe for years, this could be an option. Pretty sure I might melt in it though.. We’ve also got a faux leather version for the animal lovers and “diamond” hoop earrings to finish the look.
