Madison – Sequin Striped Sweater (3.23)

Madison walks into the room during all the high drama of the ‘Hope is a Fraud’ scandal, and BAM, there she is with her flash of sweater! Pink sequin stripes oh my. Go Madison, add some sparkle to your step.

This number is by J Crew and sorry folks, all sold out. But a few Real World options below you might like:

Hope- Long Sleeve Floral Blouse (3-19)

I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw a clip of a spoiler last week of today’s episode and caught a glimpse of Hope wearing something black. I thought maybe her newly non-virginal alter ego was making an appearance only to realize that the blouse was a black floral number. Oh well. In keeping with her character, the blouse was interesting with it’s sheer front paneling and buttons to crew collar. The sleeves were long and the shoulders had extra pouf. The floral itself was the same floral pattern of this tunic she wore on Feb 1 . I couldn’t find it then and I still can’t find it now. Here’s a few similar options though if you liked it. By the way I liked the pocketed wide leg black trousers with it, but the grey over-sized tote I thought looked awful. Yeah a black bag may have been boring, but not ugly. Anyhow, here are some similar blouse options:

Katie – Grey sleeveless dress (3.20)

Katie wearing her standard sheath dress today. I posted this one because I liked the uneven hemline, kind of a cool design element. It’s not quite a high-low hem that we are seeing a lot of, but a cool subtler version. The dress just has a nice casual chic to it with it’s V neckline and with it being sleeveless. Once again she is in a muted tone, this time a grey. I just wish she wasn’t carrying that huge camel suitcase purse again. With such a great baseline, some bangles in corral or red or turquoise would look fab. Welcome in spring a little! But, Katie always looks great no matter what. Here’s a few options for the dress:

Dr Stacy Barton- Grey Fringe Cardi (3.20)

This cozy all season cardi certainly gives off a safe, comforting vibe as Miss Hope reveals her darkest anxieties. This Real Deal one is a little longer in the front than in the back, with the fringe running down the front only. It is a nice soft heather grey that can be worn with anything. I’m a little fringed out but if it is your thing here are a couple of options for you:

Alison – Silk Blouse and Yellow & Gold link Necklace (3.13)

This statuesque Princess can rock a range of outfits. And I literally mean Princess. In case you didn’t know, Bill Spencer’s secretary who joined B&B last December is actually a real life Princess with quite the pedigree. Alison is Princess Theodora of Greece & Denmark.

Her sand colored silk blouse drapes beautifully to give it an almost wrap-like effect. The cuff and shoulders share a quilted pattern into the silk, which also gives a blouson/ peasant effect to the sleeves. The neck falls into a V neck pattern ending into a teardrop. The color is….ok, I would love to see it in a vibrant shade. The necklace choice, I also find to be a curious selection to accompany the delicate detailing of the blouse. I would rather see the necklace over a tank with a navy blazer. In any case, here are some similar options to the blouse and the Real Deal necklace by J Crew:

Steffy – Long drop tusk earrings (3.12)

Super trendy and totally Steffy. Her hair is long enough again to pull up into a loose bun, showcasing the long drop of these earrings. We saw some over-sized versions of horns and shark teeth on the runways by the likes of Givenchy this season…but this ready to wear version is just enough to take a trend into real world wear-a-ability.These are made by Malibu based Heather Gardner. Her nature influenced styles can be seen on a bunch of the A-listers everywhere you turn. The black drop earrings are sold out, but are available in tortoise, below. If you love the black I’ve included the necklace version.

Steffy – Contrast Collar Blazer (3.12)

Steffy is looking very trendy in her Black & White contrast collar blazer, printed top and drop tusk earrings. The fitted black pants look great, but I am a bit surprised by the over-sized white shoulder bag. The more I think about it, the more I think I like it vs an expected over-sized contrast clutch. I wouldn’t hate seeing a gold tone clutch or pop of color. Anyhow, Steffy rarely looks bad with any combo of clothing and accessories and this look is no exception and definitely right up her alley. The blazer is the centerpiece and I absolutely love it. The Real Deal looks like a 2011 Zara blazer, (only color options available on ebay), or Ann Harvey from last year (sold out sorry). Stella McCartney really jump started this style of blazer last year, and now this spring we have seen Gucci, Helmut Lang, Balmain, who all came out with their own OMG versions. Here are some Real World versions for this year that we could consider. Zara has another version for this year that is reasonably priced.

Taylor – Camel cardigan with leather and gold clasps (3.8)

Look, I think Taylor is gorgeous. She has been one of my faves on B&B since years and years ago, but I’m not sure if this cardigan is doing anything for her. The chunkier knit, and over-sized leather fastenings and hardware on front… I don’t think do her any favors. Maybe if this was a longer slim fit, then it would work. But the box shape, mmmm, not sure. The color is great with her dark/ tan dimensional hair color though. I think the necklace choice of a chunky gold link is a perfect choice that ties in well with the over-sized features. I think this sweater may look better on Katie with a super skinny jean and platform heels. The sweater looks very, very Ralph Lauren. Here are some versions as well as her chunky necklace:

Hope – Striped Sweater (3.9)

Hope is wearing her Ernie sadness sweater today at therapy. We all have a sadness sweater don’t we? (I do, but I generally never wear it out into public). Interesting…rust and navy nautical striping with a poppy red widow’s peak crew collar. Over-sized and slouchy with her 80’s style jeans, definitely a sadness sweater. The Real Deal is by Madewell, and sorry sold out. Here are a few versions if you want to get creative with this take on the nautical look:
