Hope- Sheer Floral Tunic (Feb 1)

Another sweet, angelic look for the lovely Hope. I couldn’t find the ‘real deal’ of this blouse but don’t you think it looks like something Jason Wu or Marc Jacobs would design? Maybe looks even a little Prada spring 2012. Jason Wu for Target also came out in stores yesterday, and from what I have heard, items have basically sold out.

So this blouse. The faint floral design, sheer blush color, with a black neck and sleeve trim, work together well. So pretty and feminine, with the bold contrast trimming. I’ve found a few similar options which showcase one of two of the design elements of this tunic. Pretty, pretty, pretty.

Katie – Rhinestone Cuff Blouse (Jan 30)

One of the things that I love about the soaps is that the gals can rock major evening bling any time of the day, any day of the year. Here Katie is just going about her day-to-day confrontations, today wearing head to toe black…except…you see it, bangles of rhinestones on the sleeves of this billowy blouse. Awesome. The detailing is all in the sleeves and with the accent rhinestone buttons. The design is simple, with the open v-neck that invites a big necklace, but true glamor gals know that too much is not a good thing. I love how the only other accessory she wears are the major carats in her ears.

Another way to wear this might be with some fun unstructured cuffed rayon type shorts (so they drape like the blouse), wear with tights or no tights and some heels or ankle boots.

A real easy way to copy this look inexpensively would be to take any black blouse and throw on matching bangles. Here’s one that would work for only $20 for two!

I think the blouse would look great with some shorts like these:

Steffy- Printed Leggings (Jan 24)

What better way to go to the doctors office for an MRI, than to dress down West Hollywood style in these printed leggings. Steffy looks a little more like Kat Von D in these pants, and I say that as a compliment. (both gals in my book are super cool). The largest print looks similar to the maltese cross.

Steffy’s outfit is perfectly put together though, with a simple white T, and clean line soft leather jacket and her gold bullet necklace. The bold patterned pants are the showpiece of the outfit, if you put anything else too bold with it then it would look silly….like a guy in a club in Vegas wearing head to toe Ed Hardy swirls,… save us. The pow patent royal blue and red day clutch is major though and pulls it all together (clutch is deserving of it’s own post to follow…)

The pants are by designer Isabel Marant from fall 11/12 collection, and they don’t look to be available anymore. You can find Isabel Marant designs at Barneys New York. Here are some similar versions:

Pam – Geometric Print Dress (Jan 17)

This dress has some interesting pattern elements that lend themselves well to Pam’s quirky character. This transitional all season knit dress carries many patterns that were seen all over the runways for spring 2012.  I guess Pam wins the fashion forward award of the day.

The patterns on the dress also echo that of Missoni prints, particularly the bottom hemline patterning. It’s a super cute dress, and I do also like the complementary color banding around the neck, wrists, elbows and waist.

Now, the gray strand of pearls Pam is wearing? Well wouldn’t be my first choice in accessories, but it is definitely keeping true to character.

Katie – Gray Asymmetrical Dress (Jan 15)

The cut, color and overall design of this dress needs to be worn by a strong character, and Katie is just the gal to do it. This particular dress is by the Helmut Lang design house. Helmut Lang is known for his minimalist, almost severe design, now with his style carried on by the design house owners since 2005. When you think Helmut Lang you usually envision a tall, strong woman with impeccable hair and make up. Katie pulls this look off, and you can see each day her fierce character building even more. Her clothes represent that strength. I suspect another throw-down with Bill is in the future once she cleverly figures out his involvement with the latest Liam/ Steffy marriage meddling.

This is a great look that also transitions well from day to evening.Throw on a great metal cuff bracelet for an evening look. There’s a lot of ‘Real World’ options out there this season. Calvin Klein is also showing a lot of these shapes with a similar muted color palette. I might have to buy one, and wear with some dark tights, ankle wedge boots, and a deconstructed blazer.

Donna – Royal Blue Sheath Dress (Jan 10)

Donna certainly has bounced back quickly to her real life pre-pregnancy figure and looks stunning in this color of the moment dress. Jewel tones are now, and this royal hue looks amazing on every skin tone and with every hair color. The sheath silhouette is timeless, and flattering on all body types, but the asymmetrical collar lines and bold geometrical cap sleeves makes this a modern and edgy take on a classic. The length and design makes it age appropriate for everyone. This dress is an easy transition from day to evening; wear it to the office, a brunch, or a night out. Gorgeous.
