Brooke – White Silk V Neck Tunic (3.8)

This is a great look for Brooke, she looks gorgeous. She has it tucked into some fitted pants, but it would also work un-tucked with the nice rounded hem. The dolman sleeves and loose fit are flattering for all body types, but the V neck adds a pretty touch of extra femininity. Beautifully made with the horizontal stitching on the back. You could wear any statement necklace, delicate necklace or a long necklace like Brooke is wearing here. Here is the Real Deal and some Real World versions:

Steffy – Off Shoulder Top (3.6)

Steffy wore this top 2 of 3 ways that we saw these past few episodes. She wore one shoulder off, full sleeves down, then both shoulders down and sleeves scrunched up. It is tunic length so almost mistaken as a dress given she was wearing black on black. I love the simple black on black though, it was a great sleek look. The chunky shoes and simple but edgy jewelry perfect the look (The third way of wearing this top is not wearing it off the shoulder at all, obviously)

*Request* Steffy – Long Blazer (2.9)

Early in February Steffy was wearing this long tuxedo jacket over a coral jean, and wearing her bullet necklace. The distinguishing features of the blazer include a long, single breasted slim fit.The length of blazer is past hip length. The fabric is brushed to sheen. The lapel is long and slim. There is a slightly curved hemline. (pardon the second image but I wanted to show length). There are a number of long black blazers on the market, here are a few that resemble this look:

Jackie – Pink Silk Blouse (2.29)

I think it’s only right that we post Jackie’s final outfit. From what I have ‘heard’ this was her last episode? Love her or hate her she brought a little sass to the screen, and always with some colorful attire, and very British mod. Here she is in a lollipop pink band collar blouse by Diane Von Furstenberg. At least she’s going out in style. Here it is and a less expensive version:

Hope – Plaid blouse (2.29)

Ok I have to say this is one of my fave Hope outfits. Yes it’s in keeping with her preppy chic image, but I absolutely adore how the stylists mixed in a casual plaid blouse, with a plaid business suit. They pulled in the faint red plaid of the suit and tied into the obvious red plaid of the blouse. Throw on her trademark long necklace and it is such a fashion forward outfit. Yeah, so many of the uber fashionistas keep talking about ‘be bold, mix patterns’ right? Well I like how this is actually kind of the same principle but pattern on pattern, and I think that it totally works. Now I’m not crazy about the high waist of the pants on Hope, but I love the pattern choices. I was so over the plaid blouses when they first came out again not too long ago, but this has inspired me to maybe reconsider and try some creative ways to take a grunge casual look and make very fashion chic. Some options, and there are tons out there, but here are some affordable ones:

Brooke – Brown satin dress (2.29)

Brown silk satin, by DVF. Elegant. It is tough to wear silk satin unless you have on spanx for a good half of your body, but the draping of the dress is perfect to hide imperfections, and enhance the areas we gals usually want to enhance. Easy to wear day, night, cocktail, whatever. I wish Brookes up-do wasn’t a messy up-do, it’s distracting. I think a MadMen sleeker up-do would be a better fit with this look. In my opinion. She looks great no matter what.

Bridget – Lace Dress (Feb 28)

Well I guess that’s one way to bring back a storyline. Be absent for months then show up and make a major announcement. At least Bridget was wearing a hot dress to do so, and she looks gorgeous (I do like her dark hair too). This is the sexiest take on the lace dresses I’ve seen for spring so far. Fitted mini with deep ‘show em’ scoop neck and cap sleeves, lovely, but not exactly a fit for every body. The lace is so pretty though. Up close it almost shimmers in shades of gray. If you want to flaunt it, here you go.

Katie – Abstract Print Dress (Feb 22)

When do you ever see Katie dressed down? Rarely. Here she is at the ‘Bikini Beach Bar’ , hanging out with all the kids, and looking very dressed up. It might be her pony tail making the dress look more formal. Maybe if she had her hair down in loose ‘beachy’ waves she would fit in a bit more.

However, the print of the dress is so fashion forward. Lots of large prints are out there for spring, including oversized blown up flower prints, and tie dye/ batik like large scale ethnic prints like this. The asymmetrical billowy one sleeve adds another pretty feminine element to the original. This would look great with a blazer or leather jacket on top. I love the tights with the dress on the model in the last image. So here they are, a couple of similar options, and affordable ones too:

Brooke – Sheer nude top (Feb 23)

See Brooke, see her being the voice of reason trying to convince her young daughter to be more like mom. Hilarious. But she is wearing this cool tunic with a drop waist double belt. The blouse is sheer, and worn boldly here with just a bra. I actually was out with a friend last weekend who wore a very similar sheer top layered on top of a sequin tank. It looked so pretty, really toned down the obvious bling of the sequins and made it more chic instead of too much. I love items that can be re-worked to look many different ways and this is one of them. And this is by Helmut Lang so it has some of their trademark angular construction, here the uneven hemline with a 15 degree asymmetry. Major chic.
