Steffy makes a fitted dress look so easy to wear. Hey it’s no big deal, just need a perfect body and just add a fitted dress. Or great shapewear. Anyone try Heather RHONY’s Yummie Tummie brand? Digressing. Actually no I really do want to know about Yummie Tummie. Back to the outfit; perfect styling with the booties, the pink clutch, and I would have predicted a drop earring, but then I am surprised with a lariat necklace. In a good way. I’m heading back to the gym.

Somebody seems happy. Having her nooner makeout session with her new (again) boyfriend. I was a little surprised by the outfit, but not disappointed. It seems to be just a slight departure from her usual style, but the Steffy elements are there like the bright bra with the sheer T. And Ikat prints are very much on trend so I guess this does make sense. I couldn’t find The Real Deal of the skirt. Any of you guys? Let me know and I will be happy to give you credit. I think these might be the same bad ass chick pants Steffy wore on her motorcycle. If they are, then The Real Deal are by All Saints. We only caught a glimpse of these this week, so this is the best I could do for a screen cap…if we get a better look next week I’ll let you know and update. I have included a Helmut Lang pair. And there’s a ‘faux’ leather pair below for my vegan friends too.

If anyone ever tells you you can’t wear white after labor day, tell them that is so yesterday. Besides both Tim Gunn (Project Runway, Parsons School) and Nina Garcia (Marie Claire Fashion Editor, Project Runway), both say it is not only ok, it is encouraged. Steffy looking cool and comfortable in her slightly sheer sweater, with a white tank, white jeans tucked into these combat boots, and wearing those drop tusk earrings. I’m almost certain that The Real Deal is a DSquared2 sweater.

I’ve had a lot of requests for these boots that Steffy is wearing, so I thought I’d better make a post. These lace up boots are more combat style (think Doc Martens) vs the classic ‘motorcycle’ boots you would normally see (square toe, buckles), but then again don’t we just love how Steffy goes against the norm anyhow? The boots she is wearing look like they may be from the JMW closet, but I’m not sure. These Tory Burch ones look pretty close to The Real Deal. Tory Burch? Let me tell you I would never have thought to look up ‘combat boots’ = ‘Tory Burch’, ever. But ‘me’ = ‘always right’, never. Well Steffy didn’t exactly diffuse the situation with $Bill did she? That’s okay she’s wearing her rebellious outfit today. We first saw these pants worn by Steffy here back in January. They are from the Isabel Marant fall 2011 RTW collection, and sorry, no longer available. These aztec print leggings below were the closest I could find.

I saw quite a few versions of this jacket either in the fall mags or in my sleep, I can’t remember which. In any case, what do you think of this type of shoulder detail? This puff shoulder has a kind of throwback whimsical edge to it, kind of like the ‘tude Steffy has right now. I think we are going to see some very classic throwback Steffy behavior soon. If you read my previous Steffy post, then I don’t need to go into the whole ensemble. The dress is a little more complex than a simple flirty summer dress. It has a draped, pleated V neck over the shoulders with the fabric which ends at a high waisted fitted elasticized skirt…which itself ends in a cute kick ruffle. Now Steffy’s dress has a fun muted tone print on it, but I am almost certain this dress is the Horai dress by Isabel Marant (which is sold out). The Horai dress I did find on ebay has no print but the same structure. I found a couple others that had similar styling and prints:
