Hope – Slim Fit Blue Denim (12.21.12)

Look: Hope - Slim Fit Blue Denim (12.21.12)
Lots of requests on these jeans, and a reader find by our friend Laurie, so had to post. I love this color as you know; bright blue, cobalt, or lapis is the pretentious color term for ‘bright blue’. I’ll be honest this episode inspired me to style my bright blue pants with a grey topper. It also inspired me to always listen to my husband and never doubt him. I’m kidding that’s silly talk, just trying to relate to the story line. Thanks for the find Laurie! Laurie also found the J Crew stretch twill pants which are a similar and a less casual look. Nice finds, thanks!

Caroline – Peplum Top / Print Pant (12.12.12)

Look: Caroline - Peplum Top / Print Pant (12.12.12)
Caroline has quite a bit more coverage today. Phew that skirt she had on yesterday made me a little nervous when she reached up. We have talked about peplum before and how deceptively flattering it is…so I’m not sure why I haven’t raced out to buy one. In any case. I’m drawn to the pants. The Real Deal are by Zara and they are sold out, sorry (you can get some on ebay).
J Crew has a bunch of great printed cigarette pants though, check them out here. They are a way cooler option for your holiday party than sequins.

Brooke – Camel Sweater (11.5.12)

Look: Brooke - Camel Sweater (11.5.12)
Brooke and Bill strolling the streets of Aspen. This is kind of freaking me out. I’ll get beyond that and focus on Brooke’s cozy, window shopping kind of outfit. Monochromatic works on Brooke proving that same tones can work and look great. Just don’t do same tone denim and sport the Canadian tuxedo (as it is called). For the record I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Canadian in said tuxedo. Here is a couple of affordable versions on her sweater to get the look. What is that splotch on here arm? Did anyone else notice? Must have been raining or I don’t know…I’m sure you all have some creative & funny ideas.

Hope – Red Shorts & Polka Dot Blouse (10.16.12)

Look: Hope - Red Shorts & Polka Dot Blouse (10.16.12)
I know that sad panda face so well now. Poor Hope. Not even a cheery print can lighten her spirits. We first saw Hope wear The Real Deal of this polka dot blouse by J Crew here back in April. The black and white one seems to be sold out, but it is available in blue tones. I have included another similar one that is on the market now. Also the red skort looking shorts have an exposed side zipper, and I just can’t seem to find The Real Deal, so I have included a couple similar versions. I haven’t seen her footwear yet to see how this all ties together, but I like the red with the blouse and the long necklace. Guesses on the shoe before next airing when we will hopefully see? Nude wedge? Black pumps?

Hope – Snake Print Skirt (10.1.12)

Hope is not going to be happy when all of those lies get revealed. But she’s toughening up and she’s looking pretty and tough in her snake print skirt. What a well done styling for this print. It is a great pencil fit and a good length that is age appropriate for everyone. To go out at night, wear with a white tank and a crop leather jacket.

Hope – Paisley & Chambray (9.4.12)

Look: Hope - Paisley & Chambray (9.4.12)
How does Hope pull off vandalism as adorablz? Well, I do declare, I like this current outfit mix better than before with this J Crew skirt we first saw back here in June. (Remember the neon sweater?). And we saw this classic chambray style shirt here at the end of May with that bright A line mini and the tie. Unfortunately the skirt is sold out. Sorry. If you are looking for a chambray shirt staple, here’s one below

Hope – White Strapless Dress (8.18.12)

Look: Hope - White Strapless Dress (8.18.12)
Although this is a toned down wedding extravaganza (compared to her other ones), it doesn’t mean the bride-to-be-again cannot wear her bridal luncheon frock before the ceremony gown right? I still like the mountain top wedding the best. Oops wrong bride. But I do like this simple strapless dress, I might also have to look for that jeweled station necklace Hope is wearing with it. Once again I get distracted by the shiny things, so here are a couple of versions of the dress:

Hope – Linen Blouse/ Paisley Shorts (7.3.12)

Part of the charm of linen is that a wrinkle or two or many is expected. And hey give Hope a break, I wish I looked that fresh coming off a long international flight. Liam is heading back to the office, while Hope chills a bit with her Mom. Hope has the best gig of all time at Forrester I think. Model, spokesperson, flexible hours. Anyhow, it is summertime, and nice to see everyone in trendy summer attire. Here’s the Real Deal shorts, but I think the blouse may be a previous J Crew version of the Tessa blouse shown below.

Hope – Neon & Paisley (6.5.12)

Maybe I am not fashiony enough, but I would play it safer with these pieces. I’m all for mixing patterns and colors, but the paisley skirt with the muted tones in there….wouldn’t this look fresh and on trend with a crisp white blouse? Keep the big necklace, although I might pick a different one. And same with the top. Let’s face it, neon isn’t the easiest to wear unless it’s in the form of a bikini with a rockin’ tan, but Hope really can wear this little neon sweater and manage to look even brighter. I would have just liked to have seen it with some white pants like the ones Steffy was wearing today. But maybe I’m being boring. In any case. here are the Real Deal pieces if you want to copy the look entirely, or break it up. You know where my vote is:

Hope – Green Blouse/ Navy Necklace (5.22.12)

This is a throwback to 80’s preppy with the green and navy combo, which offers some whimsy…but this may be a little too matronly a look for Hope. Just saying. She is such a natural beauty and I love the necklace…You know what? I’m just going to stop talking, you be the judge. This Real Deal Talitha blouse by J Crew is sold out of this green, but it is still available in red and fuchsia. Here are also some similar necklaces as well.
