Taylor – Blouse & Long Cardigan (10.25.12)

Look: Taylor - Blouse & Long Cardigan (10.25.12)
I was hoping to get a Taylor post up yesterday in honor of the Stephanie/ Taylor scenes, but I had a difficult time finding Taylor’s blouse and sweater. And I’m pretty sure the reason why is that these two items are from past seasons from Tory Burch. I can tell from the logo buttons on the cardigan that it is Tory Burch, and I’m 95% certain the print on the blouse is also from the same designer. But sometimes…like in our own closets, we wear things from (gasp) a year or so ago. Frankly I would be doing cartwheels down the street if I could wear some jeans from 5 years ago. In any case, Taylor looking beautiful (even when she’s crying too) with her classic, elegant style. To get her look here are a few things that are on the market:

Taylor – Peplum Sweater (10.16.12)

“I told you so” is what she’s thinking. A mother is always (usually) right, and I think Steffy would agree. I wonder how elated Taylor will be when she hears about Brooke and Ridge. In any case, I would be happy too with a little peplum in my wardrobe. You would think that it would exaggerate the typical trouble spots, but it is actually very flattering and totally on trend. But that’s our Doc. Diggin Taylor’s hair lately too, she looks lovely.

Taylor – Military Detail Dress (9.20.12)

Look: Taylor - Military Detail Dress (9.20.12)
Taylor looks spectacular in the color of the season, in this on-trend dress with the military inspired details. The Real Deal is this Declan dress by Tory Burch from Fall2011 and unfortunately it is sold out. You can grab one on ebay. I’ve listed a few similar dresses if you love the look. Did I mention I like Taylor’s fashionable side braid? She looks so put together, and I would not think to style this dress with an oversized link necklace… but it works… and this is one example my friends, why the B&B costume designer is just so damn good.

Steffy – Combat Boots (9.2.12)

Look: Steffy - Combat Boots (9.2.12)
I’ve had a lot of requests for these boots that Steffy is wearing, so I thought I’d better make a post. These lace up boots are more combat style (think Doc Martens) vs the classic ‘motorcycle’ boots you would normally see (square toe, buckles), but then again don’t we just love how Steffy goes against the norm anyhow? The boots she is wearing look like they may be from the JMW closet, but I’m not sure. These Tory Burch ones look pretty close to The Real Deal. Tory Burch? Let me tell you I would never have thought to look up ‘combat boots’ = ‘Tory Burch’, ever. But ‘me’ = ‘always right’, never. So here you go, plus a couple of similar versions including a fantastic Reader Find from our stylish reader Debbie. Thanks!

Taylor – Zipper Skirt (7.26.12)

Look: Taylor - Zipper Skirt (7.26.12)
Taylor having a pow wow with Ridge and $Bill to try to figure out the main culprit in this Wedding Day mess. I’m pretty sure it’s only a matter of time before she figures out who was the brains behind the operation. May as well look good doing it. And this also goes to show zippers aren’t just for 20 somethings. Sorry, the Real Deal doesn’t appear to be available in bright orange anymore:

Taylor – Tulip Print Skirt (7.10.12)

Don’t you love watching Taylor and Brooke throw the quips and daggers at each other? After all these years they are so good at it.

The little silk shell that Taylor is wearing is a simple, perfect match with the large scale tulip print skirt. Taylor pulls off the look effortlessly, and I’m glad the skirt has that extra attention in the waist, it really defines the shape elegantly.

Taylor – Tan Sundress (6.28.12)

Taylor is looking summer fresh and ready for a psych session, a barbecue, or spectating at Wimbledon. This is a pretty style on Taylor, very flattering. The Real Deal is by Tory Burch, but seems to be available only in red, white or blue. I think the red one would also look great on Taylor. If you are attached to the color though, I’ve included a couple of similar versions.

Taylor – Fringe Tie Blouse (4.20.12)

Doc is trying to have another reasonable and logical conversation with Ridge about Steffy and Thomas, and their respective love lives. I mean, she always has good points. As well, her points are always driven home more seriously when she has a great outfit on. Tie front blouses are so in fashion again this year, but this one has that little extra umph with the fringed tie. I understand you can detach the fringe as well from this Real Deal version by Tory Burch. The ivory one does not appear to be available anymore, but here it is in a soft lilac. De-lovely.

Brooke – Clover Necklace (4.3.12)

There have been quite a few fab long necklaces of late, and this one is no exception. Brooke means business trying to assert her opinion onto Rick and Amber, but it doesn’t appear to be working. What does work though is this metallic bronze sheath dress, with the long clover design necklace by Tory Burch. The Real World necklace version is pretty close. Maybe the necklace will bring Brooke better luck next time. Here it is:
