Hope – Flutter Sleeve Dress (4.20.12)

And boom, down for the count. Poor Hope. What was supposed to be a fun night at Bikini Bar with Liam, ended up being a pill induced schnoozel on the couch. You could see her pretty sheer cap sleeves flutter and she fell into the pillow. She got all dressed up in her pretty date night dress and everything. Major bummer. So here is a version of this dress if you want it for your own date night. Remember, no pills, and only one glass of wine beforehand.

Hope- Fringe Trim Jacket (4.13.12)

Hope has moved into happier times; out of her sadness therapy clothes and into her happy therapy outfit. Who doesn’t like a Chanel-esque style jacket with fringe piping? I like how the model below is wearing it with jeans, but Hope does a good job with the blue slim pants, white tank, classic pumps, and layers of long silver chains. I think Coco would be ok with this Hope look. Here is her jacket:

Hope – Grey Dress (4.5.12)

Hope is looking very innocent as she thanks her therapist for her fix of her drugs. Little does she know that Dr. Barton is not her pusher. However she is wearing a pretty A line dress in solid grey, mixed with large statement necklace and pearls. Her dress is by J. Crew and sold out, but here are a couple of versions if you must have:

Hope – Pink Tulip Dress (3.26) *25th Anniversary Party*

In keeping in her ‘Pretty in Pink’ preppy character, Hope is wearing a pretty pink frock to the anniversary party. The fabric looks to be like a cotton tweed look, or a textured satin, making it a little more party vs solid pink prom. The fitted bodice is great design, but I’m not sure I like the full tulip skirt. Props for the bright pink clutch and simple bracelet accessory. Here are some similar versions:

Hope – Pink Blouse and Blue Pencil Skirt (3.23)

Hope is on the verge of a maj meltdown, thank goodness for her new little pink pills. Quite fitting she is wearing a bubble-gum pink blouse and bright blue pencil skirt. The color blocking is fashion forward, yet still young and fresh, but certainly not for everyone. Well, on their own each piece can be mix-matched with your basics if you don’t like the two colors together. Here are the Real Deal and Real World versions of the blouse and skirt:

Hope- Long Sleeve Floral Blouse (3-19)

I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw a clip of a spoiler last week of today’s episode and caught a glimpse of Hope wearing something black. I thought maybe her newly non-virginal alter ego was making an appearance only to realize that the blouse was a black floral number. Oh well. In keeping with her character, the blouse was interesting with it’s sheer front paneling and buttons to crew collar. The sleeves were long and the shoulders had extra pouf. The floral itself was the same floral pattern of this tunic she wore on Feb 1 . I couldn’t find it then and I still can’t find it now. Here’s a few similar options though if you liked it. By the way I liked the pocketed wide leg black trousers with it, but the grey over-sized tote I thought looked awful. Yeah a black bag may have been boring, but not ugly. Anyhow, here are some similar blouse options:

Hope – Striped Sweater (3.9)

Hope is wearing her Ernie sadness sweater today at therapy. We all have a sadness sweater don’t we? (I do, but I generally never wear it out into public). Interesting…rust and navy nautical striping with a poppy red widow’s peak crew collar. Over-sized and slouchy with her 80’s style jeans, definitely a sadness sweater. The Real Deal is by Madewell, and sorry sold out. Here are a few versions if you want to get creative with this take on the nautical look:

Hope – Plaid blouse (2.29)

Ok I have to say this is one of my fave Hope outfits. Yes it’s in keeping with her preppy chic image, but I absolutely adore how the stylists mixed in a casual plaid blouse, with a plaid business suit. They pulled in the faint red plaid of the suit and tied into the obvious red plaid of the blouse. Throw on her trademark long necklace and it is such a fashion forward outfit. Yeah, so many of the uber fashionistas keep talking about ‘be bold, mix patterns’ right? Well I like how this is actually kind of the same principle but pattern on pattern, and I think that it totally works. Now I’m not crazy about the high waist of the pants on Hope, but I love the pattern choices. I was so over the plaid blouses when they first came out again not too long ago, but this has inspired me to maybe reconsider and try some creative ways to take a grunge casual look and make very fashion chic. Some options, and there are tons out there, but here are some affordable ones:

Hope – Pastel Blue Link Bracelet (Feb 20)

What a dramatic day for miss Hope, she was infuriated by the Steffy antics, and it was all really quite entertaining. Hope was doing a lot of animated talking and hands were flying everywhere, so I couldn’t help myself from becoming fixated on her blue link bracelet. So here it is and more affordable versions. It is very fashion forward, and also check boxes one of the categories I predicted Hope to be wearing from my spring trends post.
