Hope – Green Dress (8.7.12)

Hope seems to be undertaking a tougher more mature vibe. Her outfits seem to be in keeping with that new vibe. I couldn’t find The Real Deal of this dress, which has a draped neck, racer back, and tie waist; all in bright green. Here are a couple of similar looks:

Caroline – Lace Print Blouse (8.7.12)

Amish chic? Stepford wife chic? I’ve heard lots of mixed feelings about this look, let me know what you think. To be fair I can’t quite determine if this is a blouse + skirt, or a dress, so I had a hard time finding The Real Deal. The blouse however has a peter pan lace inset collar, as well as what looks to be pin tuck pleats up the front to give a tuxedo look. The back has button up enclosures. The skirt has a somewhat apron effect. Leave me your comments and let me know if you find The Real Deal.

Caroline – Ruched Dress (7.20.12)

By request, you wanted to know where to buy the ruched dress Caroline wore to Dayzee’s wedding. The dress is by Etoile Isabel Marant and sorry to say it is no longer available. I found one new with tags on eBay though. I also found a kind of similar one with ruching and in a similar color family:

Caroline – Long Quill Necklace (8.1.12)

The brain trust of Thomas and Caroline… who would of thought these two would be the dynamic duo. But hey, I like it. Much like I like the duo of brass and porcupine quills in this necklace that Caroline is wearing, beautifully offset by her robins egg blue tank. The necklace is another cool piece by K/LLER, and we can only hope that Caroline will wear every piece in their collection.

Hope – Black Fitted Shirt (7.31.12)

Hope is wearing black! It’s a fitted button up, pocketed number, which is also quite fitting with her new ‘take no crap’ attitude. I like this side of Hope. I also like that the black shirt was paired with the navy pants, and with loaded on accessories. You might remember this bracelet back in February too (but sorry sold out). I think this might be one of my top 5 favorite looks on Brooke. The color, the fit, the sweetheart neckline, the accessorizing,…the look is near perfection. I would have preferred nude pumps, but I’ll live with the black ones. Here is a similar dress:

Steffy – Quill Necklace (7.26.12)

I like that the clothes and accessories are re-used on the show. For one it makes it more real life if the character repeats….because I don’t know about you, but I don’t have an outfit for every new day. Secondly, I like the re-use by a different character…it shows you a different look for the same item. I am always looking for ways to mix and match my existing wardrobe, so when the wardrobe team reuses items like this, it’s quite inspiring. And also Steffy could basically wear Liam’s tie and still look good. Here’s that great quill necklace we saw on Caroline back in April.Who do you think wore it better, Caroline or Steffy?

I’m pretty sure it’s only a matter of time before she figures out who was the brains behind the operation. May as well look good doing it. Did you hear Brooke’s comment about ‘Hope is changing her style’? Interested to see what that’s going to be all about.
